Check out our calendar of events & activities for July! It may be stupid hot outside, but we’ve got cool things you can do to help us flip Texas blue. We’ve got our monthly First Fridays Happy Hour, Breakfast Club, Game Night, & Book Club on offer and they are great places to plug in and get to know your fellow Dems better. We also have postcard writing parties every weekend in support of Denise Wooten for HD63, and Congressional Candidate Steven Shook is holding a virtual Town Hall. Our monthly club meeting is, like always, the 3rd Wednesday of every month, however this month we’re meeting at the Flower Mound Public Library so that our usual location (the very gracious Creekwood Christian Church) can do their VBS. We’re excited to have special guests Dr. Herb Krasner & Jenna Royal, organizing director for Team Texas Public Schools (Gina Hinojosa’s campaign initiative) speaking with us about how we can save our public schools. We will also be collecting donations of cases of water for the Denton Water Project to help out the homeless like we do every summer. So scroll on down to see our full list of upcoming events & make your plans to jump in & join us! You can also find all of this information and more on our website: www.flowermoundareademocrats.org, our club’s Flower Mound Area Democrats private Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/flowermounddemocrats, and the DCDP’s event page DCDP Eventshttps://www.dentondemocrats.org/events.

Cohen draws on conversations with Pete Buttigieg, Medhi Hasan, Jen Psaki, and others to expose the permission structure Republicans have built to behave in direct contradiction to everything they claim to stand for.
