We’ve got a great calendar of events for you for the month of April. Our First Friday’s Happy Hour is at the top of this month and most every month. It’s always a good time. On the 12th, we’ll be hosting a Candidate Forum for some of our Municipal Candidates for Flower Mound Town Council. Lewisville City Council, Highland Village City Council, and LISD School Board. At our monthly club meeting — the third Wednesday of most every month — several of our current School Board members will be joining us for an informative panel discussion on the issues facing our schools and school board. Breakfast Club, Game Night, & Book Club are great places to plug in and get to know your fellow dems better. And we have our upcoming Municipal elections to vote in. FMAD April Club Meeting

What: Join us for our monthly club meeting. Current LISD School Board Members Dr. Sheila Taylor, Dr. Staci Barker, newly elected Paige Dixon (Woo-Hoo!), and State Board of Education candidate Amy Taylor will be joining us for a panel discussion about the issues facing our schools and school board. FMAD Breakfast Club
When: Saturday, April 18th, 9:00 – 10:30 am

What: Come eat breakfast and socialize with your fellow Democrats. Look in the back room for a long table of fellow Democrats drinking coffee and ordering up all the breakfast goodies. It takes less than 30 minutes to clean, it helps keep Flower Mound beautiful, and many hands make light work.
FMAD Adopt-a-Spot Clean-Up
When: Saturday, April 18th, 11:00 – 11:30 am (Weather Permitting)
Where: FMAD’s Adopt-a-Spot located at NE corner of Dixon Ln & Long Prairie Rd. 6000 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028
What: Join us to help Keep Flower Mound Beautiful by picking up trash at our Adopt-a-Spot. We will have everything you need (gloves, trash bags, trash pickup grabbers). It doesn’t take long, and many hands make light work.

When: Mon, April 20th 8am-5pm, Wed, April 22nd – Sat. 25th 8am – 5pm, Sun. April 26th 11am – 5pm, Mon, April 27th – Tues, April 28th 7am – 7pm
Where: Early Voting Locations within Denton County. Go to www.votedenton.gov for the list of Early Voting locations
What: Early Voting for the May Municipal Election begins 4/20 and goes through 4/28. Election Day is May 2nd, 7am-7pm, and the location is precinct-specific. Go to www.votedenton.gov and do a Voter Look Up to see your precinct number, check your voter registration, find out who your current representatives are, see your sample ballot, see the list of early voting locations, and confirm your precinct’s polling location for election day.
FMAD Game Night
