Hello Flower Mound Area Democrats Members!
December, they say, is the month of joy, happiness, and to finish what you’ve started. And, according to Ralph Waldo Emerson, it’s also the time for remembering the past and reaching toward the future. And as Flower Mound Area Democrats, that’s just exactly what we plan to do and to incorporate into our end of year festivities and activities.
As one of the longest serving Democratic clubs in the county, we pride ourselves on offering a variety of events & activities, consistently, each and every month. We offer monthly club meetings, so you can come and socialize with your fellow Dems and be informed each meeting as we bring in speakers to present on a variety of relevant topics, host candidates for office, and provide you with ways to get better connected & more involved. We offer training opportunities. We offer volunteer opportunities. We offer community. We offer hope.

First Fridays Happy Hour
When: Friday, December 5th, 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Where: Guitars & Growlers, 400 Flower Mound Rd., Suite 160, Flower Mound, TX 75028
What: Come join your like-minded fellow Dems for a few pints, some good eats, and good times. It’s always a good time. Come get connected! The food is good and the beer selection is fabulous. FMAD End Of Year Pot-Luck & Holiday Party
When: December 17th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Where: Creekwood Christian Church, Great Room/Common Area, 2660 Forest Vista Dr., Flower Mound, TX, 75028
What: Join us for our end of year Holiday Party. We’ll have fun & games, party foods, arts & crafts, and lots of laughs. Everyone is welcome to bring a dish, snack, drink, or dessert to share. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together and just play & enjoy one another’s company as we gear up to continue the fight going forward together. And just like last month, our club is collecting donations for the Denton Water Project/Denton Basic Services/Little Pantries. So please bring non-perishable items, pop-top canned goods, and/or clean/new coats, socks, gloves, blankets. Beth Porter Varma will collect our donations. Sign up & let us know you’re coming! FMAD Breakfast Club
When: Saturday, December 20th, 9:00 – 10:30 am
Where: Texas Star Cafe, 1901 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75022
