Hello Flower Mound Area Democrats Members! 

Welcome to February and Primary season! This is an important month with plenty of opportunities for you to gather with your fellow Democrats and, most importantly, meet the candidates who want to represent you so you can vet them, ask them questions, and make your informed choices and voices heard at the ballot box. Early voting starts this month, and our club is here to help you be ready for that. Mark your calendar for these upcoming events so you are prepared for this primary election.  

First Fridays Happy Hour 

When: Friday, February 2nd, 5pm – 7pm

Where: Taco Ocho, 3750 Long Prairie Rd #100, Flower Mound, TX 75028 

What: Come join your fellow Democrats at the top of February for drinks, chips & salsa, amazing food, and introduce yourselves to our newest members!

FMAD Democratic Primary Candidate Forum

When: Sunday, February 4th, 3:00 – 5:00 pm

Where: Flower Mound Senior Center, 2701 W. Windsor Drive, Flower Mound, TX, 75028

FMAD Monthly Club Meeting

When: Wednesday, February 21st, 6:30 – 8:00 pm 

Where: Landmark Grill, 1297 Justin Road. #310, Lewisville, TX 75077

What: Come gather with your fellow Democrats, eat, drink, and become better informed. Social time at 6:30 pm. Meeting starts at 7:00 pm. Our guest speaker is Jordan Villareal, currently interim Chief of Staff at Texas House of Representatives. A graduate of the University of North Texas — where he was president of the UNT College Democrats — Jordan has served as campaign manager for several Democratic candidates including Angela Brewer for HD64, and Representatives Salman Bhojani (HD92) and Mihaela Plesa (HD70). Come and learn what it takes to win as a Democrat in Texas.

FMAD Breakfast Club

When: Saturday, February 24th, 9:00 am

WhereFirst Watch — 2201 Justin Rd Ste. 301, Flower Mound, TX 75028 

What: Come eat breakfast and socialize with your fellow Democrats. Look for a long table of fellow Dems drinking coffee and ordering pancakes. 

Democratic Primary Early Voting

When:February 20-23, 8:00 am-5 pm, February 24, 7:00 am-7 pm, February 25, 11:00 am-5 pm, February 26-March 1, 7:00 am-7 pm.

Where: Denton County Southwest Courthouse, Flower Mound Community Activity Center, Flower Mound Municipal Court, Flower Mound Public Library, Flower Mound Senior Center and any polling location in Denton County.
